IDEA, a supply chain specialist, participates in manufacturing more than 800 aircraft per year at various Airbus sites by ensuring on-site global factory management and flows in Nantes and Saint-Nazaire. IDEA and Samsic Emplois' sustainable partnership of more than 10 years is based on vital factors which ensure the success of delegated projects: retaining logistics teams and developing their employability. Philippe Pioud, Aeronautics BU Director, tells us how value can be created through collaboration.

Which challenges did Samsic Emploi have to deal with in order to provide you with concrete support?

Samsic Emploi had to primarily be able to provide high-level on-site support which was similar to our own and which met team back up needs in tight turnaround time: customer proximity and care, and agility and responsiveness, whilst ensuring high-level recruitment, are essential.

In order to do this, we apply a pro-active approach to our work method: we organise weekly schedule meetings to better anticipate the developments necessary for joint success.

For you, how does Samsic Emploi stand out from the crowd?

Samsic Emploi instinctively understood how to approach IDEA's multi-site and multi-business requirements. By mobilising more than 350 employees in France, of whom almost 100 are FTEs, Samsic Emploi scores higher than 80% satisfaction for the assignments carried out as part of this project.

Customer satisfaction is not only measured with IDEA; Samsic Emploi also carries out targeted satisfaction surveys amongst its temporary staff after their initial employment phase.

We also jointly decided to set a longer project duration time than usual, with an average of 37 days. It's a win/win situation which develops temporary employee loyalty, wellbeing and productivity. We reduce integration figures, training hours and the risk of work-related accidents. Samsic Emploi is constantly developing innovative training solutions and provides highly reliable profiles. Creating value through a collaborative approach is ultimately beneficial to all.
